Lou Ferrigno

Lately, I've been seeing Lou Ferrigno everywhere!
My husband and I finally saw the movie "I Love You, Man" with Jason Segel and Paul Rudd. Lou plays himself in the movie.
We also DVR "King of Queens" episodes, where, for 7 seasons, Lou plays himself as a neighbor of Doug and Carrie's.

Lou Ferrigno is best known from playing the Incredible Hulk in the late 70s-early 80s TV series of the same name.
But it turns out that Lou does a bunch of work still today. According to imdb.com, and Lou's website, he has his own line of exercise equipment, is an honorary deputy for the Los Angeles' Sheriff's Department, and keeps busy as a motivational speaker as well.
Starting out as a professional body-builder, I'd say he's done pretty well for himself!
But it's obvious he hasn't completely avoided being type-cast after playing the Hulk, as in I Love You, Man and King of Queens he plays himself and is the supply of Hulk jokes. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. He's keeping his name out there and is being the cultural icon that he is.

So I say, bravo, Mr. Ferrigno. Keep up the good work.
